CBA helped develop a landscape-led masterplan that responded to the site's sensitive landscape context close to the Pevensey Levels forming the basis of an outline planning application for 400 new homes and open space.

CBA is supporting Gleeson Strategic Land and Rydon Homes in the development of a residential scheme on the southern edge of Hailsham in East Sussex.  Working in collaboration with Richards Urban Design, CBA helped develop a landscape-led masterplan that responded to the site's sensitive landscape context close to the Pevensey Levels.  The masterplan forms the basis of an outline planning application for 400 new homes and open space.  CBA also prepared a landscape and visual impact assessment to inform the masterplanning process and support the planning application.

CBA also supported Devine Homes in the development of a residential scheme for 400 homes at Thanet Way in Whitstable, Kent.  Working in collaboration with a team led by Barton Willmore, CBA helped develop a landscape-led masterplan incorporating an extension to the adjacent Duncan Down open space - one of Britain's largest village greens.  In addition to assessing the landscape and ecological impacts of the proposals as part of the EIA supporting the outline planning application, CBA also developed a detailed landscape scheme, protected species mitigation strategies plus a landscape and ecological management plan for the Duncan Down extension, to support reserved matters applications.
