  • Hemel Garden Communities Green Infrastructure Strategy

We crafted a bold strategy that puts green infrastructure at the heart of ambitious plans to grow Hemel Hempstead by creating sustainable new Garden Communities of up to 11,000 homes by 2050.  Our work was inspired by the legacy of the visionary town planner and landscape architect Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe’s original landscape-led masterplan for the New Town.

  • Greater Cambridge Local Plan

Our strategic evidence work for the new Greater Cambridge Local Plan has been influential in shaping the future sustainable growth of this area.  This has included a Green Infrastructure Strategy, Landscape Character & Sensitivity Assessments and Landscape & Heritage Assessments of Strategic Spatial Options/Site Allocations, and a Cambridge Skyline & Tall Buildings Strategy.

  • City of Durham Regeneration

We have advised developers on the heritage and landscape impact of numerous major mixed use riverside regeneration and university development schemes across Durham.  Our deep understanding of the Durham Cathedral & Castle World Heritage Site and its setting has been influential in achieving sensitively designed new developments that respect the city’s outstanding heritage and unique character.
