CBA’s Green Infrastructure Strategy will support the Torfaen Public Services Board's Well-being Plan in delivering social/cultural benefits.

CBA is delighted to have been commissioned by Torfaen County Borough Council in South East Wales to develop a Green Infrastructure Strategy to support the Torfaen Public Services Board's Well-being Plan.  The Strategy will provide a common framework for supporting an integrated and collaborative approach to managing natural resources on land managed by the Public Services Board partners.

A key role of the Strategy is to help improve and build resilience in the long-term management of land owned/managed by the partner organisations, positively influencing behavioural and policy change to recognise the potential of managing green infrastructure assets in ways that deliver multiple benefits from ecosystem services - such as those that regulate climate, flooding, water and air quality, erosion and pollination; supply food, timber, fresh water and fuel; and provide social/cultural benefits (e.g. physical health, mental well-being/spiritual enrichment, inspiration and employment).
